1. Introduction
Tecton Audit ("Tecton Audit," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website, create an account, or use our enterprise insurance supplement auditing platform (the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.
2. Information We Collect
Account and profile information. When you register, we collect your name, email address, organization or firm name, and authentication credentials managed through our identity provider.
Audit and workflow content. To perform analyses, you may upload insurance estimate PDFs, technician teardown notes, optional vehicle photos, vehicle or claim identifiers, and related metadata. Saved audits may include platform-generated analysis results and export history.
Billing information. Paid plans are offered under our three-tier framework. All tiers include full system workspace access. Pay-As-You-Go and Pro Auditor support photo & teardown analysis for up to 3 images per audit; Elite Shop supports premium photo & teardown analysis for up to 6 images per audit. Pay-As-You-Go ($0/mo base fee with 2 free initial credits and $5.00 per individual credit), Pro Auditor ($49/mo with 30 audit credits per month and $3.00 add-ons), and Elite Shop ($99/mo with 100 audit credits per month and $1.50 add-ons). Purchases are processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, transaction identifiers, and limited billing metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
Usage and technical data. We We collect log data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, timestamps, and diagnostic events needed to secure and operate the Service.
Support communications. If you contact us, we collect the information you choose to provide, including message content and contact details.
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and enforce account security;
- Process supplement audit requests and store analysis history you choose to save;
- Manage subscriptions, credits, invoices, and payment reconciliation;
- Respond to support requests and product feedback;
- Monitor abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service;
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Customer Content to train public third-party foundation models unless explicitly disclosed and permitted by you.
4. Secure Enterprise Processing and Analytical Review
When you submit an audit request, relevant portions of your uploaded materials may be transmitted through secure enterprise processing networks for analytical review. Outputs are returned to your account and displayed in the Service. Analysis results may contain errors and must be reviewed by qualified professionals before reliance.
We configure subprocessors to process data only for the purpose of delivering the Service and subject to contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
5. Sensitive and Personally Identifiable Information
Customer Content may incidentally contain personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, phone numbers, addresses, license plates, or policy details embedded in estimates or photos. You should upload only the minimum data necessary for your audit workflow.
We apply administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to limit unnecessary retention of sensitive fields. Where feasible, we minimize exposure of PII in logs and internal tooling. You remain responsible for obtaining any required consents before uploading third-party personal data.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information with:
- Infrastructure and processing partners such as Supabase (authentication and database hosting) and analytical language architecture providers, solely to operate the Service;
- Payment processors such as Stripe, to complete transactions you authorize;
- Professional advisors under confidentiality obligations, where reasonably necessary;
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of the Service.
We may also share de-identified or aggregated statistics that cannot reasonably identify you.
7. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Saved audit records remain until you delete them or close your account, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, security, or backup purposes.
Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion. We may retain billing and transaction records as required by tax, accounting, and payment network rules.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, authenticated database policies, and monitoring designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can update profile fields in your account settings, delete saved audits from your history, and cancel subscriptions through billing controls.

10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use essential cookies and local storage mechanisms to maintain authenticated sessions and remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the authenticated auditor workspace. You can control browser cookie settings, though disabling essential cookies may impair login functionality.
11. International Data Transfers
If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our subprocessors operate. We take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards when transferring data across borders.
12. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this Policy was most recently revised.
